Our club is active from September to the 1st week of June and inactive during the months of June, July and August
Who can join?
English speaking women!
- Women who are US citizens are automatically accepted.
- English speaking women of all other countries upon Board approval.
Why become a member?
- To meet a great group of ladies who are from various countries.
- Monthly ‘general’ meetings with speakers on topics of interest followed by refreshments.
- Monthly newsletter
- Access to “Members Only” area of the website that is filled with additional information and where you can see images of our events.
- Membership in FAWCO.
- Networking opportunities.
Various activities throughout the year, social events, fundraisers, cultural outings, etc.
Membership types:
- Full membership; means the possibility of participating in all general meetings, six per year, cost included and extra meetings/lunches at a reduced member’s cost. Full members are also eligible to join our book clubs.
- Associate membership; This membership is ideal for those who work and are not able to attend our day time meetings but still wish to participate. There is a calendar of evening activities and aperitivi aimed at these members. These meetings are paid for per participation. One general meeting per year is included with this membership but in order to attend further general meetings you must become a full member.
All members will receive our newsletter and are also members of FAWCO (Federation of American Women’s Clubs Overseas) our umbrella organisation. There are grants available for children and grandchildren of FAWCO members and if a member moves to a city where we have a sister club they will be welcomed.
